list your home. Rather than getting tied up on serial phone calls, playing
telephone tag, or having "coffee" meetings, you can operate privately and
efficiently online from the comfort of your home or office, when it's
convenient for you.
Second, it saves you money by creating a means for realtors to compete for your valued business. If you decide to sell, the reality is that hundreds of realtors will want your listing but without PreList it would be very difficult to request, receive and evaluate proposals from more than just a few realtors. PreList allows you to identify the best realtors offering the best rates to sell your home.
Third, it saves you from being hassled by requiring realtors to communicate with you online through the PreList system. Your identity, address and telephone number are not exposed to realtors unless you decide otherwise. After you have received the information you were looking for and if you decide to list your home, only then do you need to arrange to meet with the "short list" of the best potential realtors you identified through PreList.

The PreList system and our policies are designed to protect you from being hassled.
When you create an account on PreList, all information about you and your home are completely private unless you indicate otherwise. You are always in control on PreList. You decide if, when, and what information you wish to share with realtors or appraisers. If you decide you want to receive information or proposals from realtors, your name and address are not published.
To receive valuation and appraisal information you need to share some information, such as a description, pictures and the general location of your home. This information is not available to the general public. Only licensed realtors who have registered with PreList and agreed to our Terms & Conditions are able to see this information. Realtors are prohibited from using this information to try and identify and then contact you outside of PreList. We explicitly prohibit realtors from calling or contacting you outside of PreList unless you have asked them to do so. If realtors contravene this policy they will be restricted from using PreList.

There is no cost for homeowners to use PreList unless you would like an appraisal from an independent valuation specialist. PreList charges fees to realtors in return for the ability to be able to communicate with and send proposals to homeowners who wish to communicate conveniently, efficiently and privately online.

With PreList you first create a simple profile of your home using our web-based wizard. This involves entering basic information about the the age, size, style, and rooms in your home & things you likely know 'off the top of your head'. You can also upload a few pictures.
Once your profile is created, you decide what information you wish to receive and from whom. For example, you can start by asking an independent valuation specialist to review your home profile online and give you an estimate of its current market value. You can also ask realtors for valuation and other information, such as recent sales in your area, whether or not they may have a buyer looking for a home like yours, and/or the general state of the market in your area.

With PreList you first create an account and configure your realtor profile using our web-based wizard. This involves listing your credentials, describing your approach and uploading a picture. Each time you respond to a homeowner's request for information on PreList your complete profile is displayed to the homeowner alongside the information you provided.
Using PreList, homeowners can ask you for a valuation opinion, CMAs, general market information, formal listing proposals and whether or not you may have buyers that are interested in seeing their home before it is listed on MLS®.

The PreList system facilitates the negotiation of a compensation agreement between you and vendor in advance of either a showing or listing the vendor's home. The vendor and the realtor are free to negotiate all parameters of compensation, just as you would in any transaction whether you are the listing and or selling agent.
